Adding Data to the Menu Accelerates Sales

PRINT AND TECHNOLOGY BUILD A BRIDGE TO BRAND CONSISTENCY AT POINT-OF-PURCHASE

THE CHALLENGE

Improve the data collection from a major QSR chain and enhance the communication fluidity between the QSR’s corporate offices and store owners.

THE OUTCOME

Data-driven marketing and store versioning accelerates QSR store sales. Having a dedicated technology and development team is part of Fuse’s secret sauce.

THE IMPACT

Fuse data technology enables the QSR to move more menu items, resulting in increased sales and revenues.

Independent customer service agency Integrated Marketing Solutions (IMS) and its QSR client have long associated Fuse with quality. Brand excellence is a critical requirement as the QSR’s brand recognition is one of the highest in the world.

Fuse handles complex store versioning with data for menu items and pricing supplied by IMS. Upon approval of PDFs, items are digitally printed, trimmed, packed and shipped to each store directly from Fuse.

With such stature in the QSR space, demands are high. The QSR and its agencies expect instant responses, attention to last minute changes and even solutions to problems triggered by competitors. Fuse inventories parts so orders are shipped same day. Digital prints are shipped to stores within two days. We meet formidable deadlines — even working around unexpected delays.

The upshot: IMS’s confidence in Fuse comes by way of the consistent quality we deliver.

Kris Burger, Fuse

“We’re navigating the shifting sands of technology so QSRs and their agencies win on innovation. We study the way consumers view fast food, always asking: What’s the next
big thing?”

The Backstory

Our story of Fuse serving up sales momentum for the major quick service restaurant chain began in 1985. Buhl Press, which later merged into Fuse, was commissioned by IMS to create translights for its client in the fast food space. Print production experts experimented with formulations and created a new plastic material to withstand extreme outdoor temperatures and properly adhere the brand’s color palette.

The high quality required for the light boxes was achieved and the can-do value we’ve always brought to the IMS/QSR account continues today. Fuse has become an extension of the agency, continuing our work on new consumer-facing products, testing new materials and using data-driven technology to elevate the consumer experience across 164 markets.

Eyes Forward: Seamless Print and Technology Solutions

Fuse offers IMS/QSR’s custom products and data-driven ideas because our solutions and experts reside under one roof. Our in-house technology and development team enhances prepress and digital departments as well as a full suite of bindery and finishing services and other print media.

Seamless, innovative options mean more selling opportunities and brand consistency for this major brand to engage consumers today while anticipating the evolving technology of tomorrow.
